Gunfires and Explosions Continue Amid Russian Attacks
Ukrainians are holding their ground
As the Russian forces continue pushing further into Kyiv, and Ukrainians fight for their freedom, the conflict is continuing to escalate.
At a closer look, we see mayhem in train stations. We hear gunfires as people scream in horror in a frantic rush to escape and evade the Russian army. We see people sheltering in crowded subway stations.
We see families packed with suitcases and pushing strollers and carriages. Thousands of refugees have already fled to Poland. And according to projections, we can expect up to 5 million more refugees.
We’re witnessing a massive evacuation of refugees since WWII.
It’s shocking to see Ukraine — where just a while ago, everything was so calm and peaceful — and now people are running away for their safety. Across the cities, we see many people’s residential areas have been destroyed by missiles.
We see panic and chaos on busy streets and traffic-jammed roads. Crowds of people waiting for hours in freezing temperatures to board the train. People fearing for their lives and the lives of their children who had to make a hard decision to leave their country.
