Have you been struggling to stay consistent with your writing?

Do you feel like writing took a backseat in your life? Whatever reasons may be — work, family, or personal responsibilities.

Or maybe you feel like you want to write, but the muse has abandoned you.

It happens to the best of writers.

The worst thing you can do is to beat yourself up when you’ve skipped writing for many days in a row.

And getting back into writing might be especially challenging after long dry spells.

No need to worry, as I’ll give you a few helpful tips that will help you get back on track.

Start small and build up to it

If you haven’t been writing lately, you may not be in the zone to sit down and write for hours.

What you should do instead is to start small — say write for 15–20 minutes and then step away.
