I didn't say the patients you see in ICUs aren't filled with COVID patients, what I said was MOST of them most likely had other comorbid conditions going on- they weren't healthy in the first place. Some of them may have been hospitalized because Covid made their condition worse. The bottom line: if you are frail and old and have medical issues, you may as well have died from other diseases while being in the hospital.

FYI, if you die from pneumonia and have Covid then on the report it'll say Covid, or if you were treated from cancer and had Covid and died, on the death chart it'll say you died because of Covid. You have to look at the whole picture to understand how many healthy people actually die in the hospital from Covid.
