I would have to question the assumption that the emergence of variants is mainly due to the unvaccinated people spreading the virus. We don't know what the percentage of vaccinated people out there who've spread the virus and caused it to mutate and with rising infections it's really hard to draw that line. Besides, it's false to assume that just because the person is unvaccinated they can equally infect others. There's a large portion of unvaccinated who are taking precautions and manage to keep themselves and other people safe. So when talking about the unvaccinated and their passing on the virus, it's really those who don't wear masks and follow other precautions. So just because you're unvaccinated doesn't mean you turn into a Petri dish for others.
