I'm wondering if Germany didn't have to rely on the Nord stream pipe, would they have had sufficient amount of gas? I know many countries in Europe, unlike the US and Canada, have to rely on Russia for supply of oil and gas. Just curious if they did it out of greed or pure necessity.
