Many countries in the world are leaving their quarantine lives behind as governments begin to ease lockdown restrictions following the Covid-19 pandemic. However, many people are still feeling quite disgruntled regarding limitations being imposed on them. They cannot wait until things return to normal. They want to get out of their house, go to their favorite restaurant, see friends, or simply visit a salon to get a haircut. They are stuck with anxious children in their homes and unable to relax. Many still can’t resume their normal work life and struggle to pay the bills. It is easy to fall into a negative mindset when you have no control over the situation, and depressive thoughts start occupying your mind. The cycle of negativity begins making your life miserable and counterproductive.

In times like this, it is important to step back, look at the situation from a different perspective, and try to see brighter parts of the world. Yes, we currently don’t have what we wish we had; however, it is NOT the end of the world. Rather than focusing on what we don’t have and activities that we can’t do, shift your attention to what we do have and what we can do.
