Whether a vaccinated person will get a virus or not will depend on many factors: their safety measures, their level of exposure, etc.

Sure, if you're reckless and avoid the safety practices such as mask-wearing you'll get infected, just as a vaccinated person would if they didn't wear a mask. Not all unvaccinated are irresponsible, however, and we know better how to keep ourselves and others safe. So we keep wearing masks, we avoid the crowds, and we stay home when we are sick.

And I know some health care workers who've never managed to get sick, and those who did get sick once or even twice had a light form of infection and recovered quickly.
