This article was not about discouraging anyone from vaccination-

it was about drawing a clear line between those who need it the most and those who don't.

I'm an advocate for people who are frail and immunocompromised to get vaccinated.

Contrary to popular opinion, vaccine-hesitant aren't the only spreaders of infection. The widespread vaccination fury has caused unvaccinated people to feel stigmatized and ashamed.

Many unvaccinated people have been taking precautions to keep ourselves and everyone around us safe.

And health care workers know better to keep their masks on.

Besides, the Delta variant is driving all the infections and the fact remains is that shots DON'T work to stop the transmission of the Delta, which is the reason mask mandates are still in place.

And since it doesn't stop the spread it shouldn't be used as the number one public health measure to control the virus. The government is making it look like they're acting within the best interests of public health. There are many cases of people(many of which are unreported) who died from Covid despite being vaccinated. And usually, those are people with medical conditions. They die from Covid just as they would from pneumonia that takes your life away if you are weak and old.

This brings me to this question: How can you mandate it to every American and even give it to your children? If they were so safe and effective, then let people walk around with no masks on. With that said, I don't think it's the most reasonable public health policy.
