Vocal Media has just introduced the biggest hottest WRITING CHALLENGE of the year. If you’re not yet on Vocal, it’s a great time to join now.
The Vocal+ Fiction Awards
What this challenge entails:
“Submit your best piece of short fiction, between 600 and 4,000 words, in any style, genre, or topic of your choosing.”
To give you the scope of the challenge: there will be 25 winners, $125,000 in prizes, and Vocal’s first-ever book of short stories by Vocal creators.
Each of the 25 grand prize winners will receive $5000 and be published in the Vocal short storybook collection.
But if you’re not one of the lucky 25 winners, you could be one of the 1,000 runner-ups! Each runner-up will receive a free year of Vocal+ membership.
If you’re a fiction writer who loves to write stories, I highly encourage you to participate in this challenge.
Submissions are currently open, but hurry — there are only 44 days left to enter the challenge!
Submissions close on Dec. 29. The winners will be announced on Feb 15, 2022.
